Ron de Villa

Bro. Ron is the last remaining founder of WCCC (formerly WCF) since its inception in 1999. He was educated at Ateneo de Manila University, Johns Hopkins University, Simon Fraser University, and Harvard University. His passion is church planting and teaching, having taught courses in business management and statistics for over 20 years at Douglas College.

He is currently the BC Provincial Overseer of Word International Ministries. He is also a member of the faculty of Word International School of Leadership specializing in Church History and Biblical Leadership.

Bro. Ron and his wife, Sis. Dana Wakabayashi live in New Westminster, BC. She heads the WCCC Counselling Ministry as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. They both enjoy exploring nature through mountain biking, kayaking, camping and RVing. Their favourite vacation spots include Yellowstone National Park in Montana, USA and the Okanagan wine region in BC, among many others. They also love going for walks with their two dogs, Irwin and Bailey.
